At CRG Honduras, we are looking for a Network Technician who will be responsible of our customer’s networking system to run efficiently without interruption. The Network Technician proactively manages the network system for one or more customers.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English. High Proficiency level (must).
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (must).
• 2+ years of experience in a networking role (must).
• Knowledge in LAN and WAN.
• Experience with routing protocols, BGP, OSPF.
• Knowledge in Data Center (plus)
• Excellent skills in developing processes and procedures for customers.
• Excellent oral communication skills, writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional, articulate manner.
• Assertive communication skills, empowerment, proactivity, and effectiveness.
• Able to work at the offices in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the service provided is agile and efficient, using the escalation mechanisms that the company provides.
• Provide support for cases, revisions, diagnosis, and repair of equipment failures, both Hardware and Software, on the assigned platforms.
• Ensure the proper functioning of installed equipment and systems and provide instruction to users in the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
• Make scheduled visits to customers in order to make installations and / or changes in equipment.
• Carry out the installation of various equipment and components and carry out compatibility tests whenever required.
• Attend and resolve technical queries presented by his superiors and clients, related to the work he develops; interprets blueprints and diagrams of the electronic equipment and software systems that it maintains; requests the materials, spare parts, instruments, and other supplies necessary to carry out the work.
• Ensure that all the services provided are duly documented and that they are duly signed and accepted by the client.
• Lead the client before queries about new technologies or new requirements, clearing up doubts within their scope, providing information or directing them to the trained or certified resource within the company that can help them.
